Clinical InternshipAt — Seneca
Seneca has internships in our Fairfield office in our Transitional Aged Youth, Wraparound, Katie A, and Partial Hospitalization Programs. Internships are also available in El Sobrante, Concord, Santa Rosa, Petaluma, San Rafael, Oakland, San Francisco, Hayward, San Jose, Salinas, San Luis Obispo, Oxnard, and Anaheim programs.

Interns will have experience writing MediCal mental health notes.
Interns will have completed Comprehensive Clinical Assessments and Treatment Plans for the clients on their caseload.
All interns complete Seneca's 2 week (M-F 9am-5:30pm) New Employee Orientation prior to the beginning of internship. NEO runs back-to-back through the summer, so interns can chose the NEO cycle that best fits their schedule. NEO is a comprehensive orientation to Seneca, our history, clinical model, and method of working with children. Following NEO, interns transition to their programs, where they receive specific training focused on the service model and population in their program. All interns complete four trainings with Seneca's clinical director over the course of the internship.
In-person services are provided following all public health guidelines to ensure the safety of providers and clients, including appropriate social distancing, agency-provided PPE, and extensive training.
