Opportunity Summary 

We're excited for another year of providing placements for our CSUS Social Work students! We have over 50 programs in 10 northern California counties and can almost always place you near where you live. If you are interested in supporting members of our communities of all ages and identities to live their very best lives through the delivery of qualify behavioral health and social services, this is the placement for you. We support those who are the most marginalized, stigmatized and vulnerable and have been dong so for 45 years! We hope to see you referred soon.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Associate Clinical Social Worker Supervisory Plan Goals and Objectives

Opportunity Training 

TPCP has a 12-week TPCP Training Academy that meets 3 hours every week providing training on topics such as: the Recovery Model, Harm Reduction, documentation, Mandated Reporting, MSE, Suicide Prevention, Diagnosis, Boundaries, Transference/Countertransference, Compassion Fatigue/Vicarious Trauma, Motivational Interviewing, Cultural Awareness, Trauma-Informed Care, Strength-Based Practice, Grief and Loss and Behavioral Techniques. In addition, we provide clinical trainings open to interns on different treatment modalities such as: DBT, ACT, Narrative Therapy, Contextual Family Therapy, AOD Treatment, etc.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Every program has safety protocols for day-to-day business operations and for COVID safety. We provide all PPE and practice all guidelines outlined by the CDC and the state of California.
