Program Information The primary purpose of the Undergraduate Internship is to provide an intern with relevant field experiences in their chosen field of study. Students will be mentored to provide guidance and to assess performance, maintain confidentiality, ethical guidelines, policies including HIPPA laws and regulations. The intern is responsible for observing the functions and processes of the assigned work unit. In addition, the intern may be given selected work assignments to reinforce the learning experience, to assess the performance levels and to provide benefit to the work unit. The intern will be responsible for completing all internship-related assignments and reports back to mentor and educational facility. The duration and timing of the internship will be arranged with the intern and Cal State Fullerton.The psychology intern will help develop, implement, and manage our community program under supervision of a psychotherapist. The intern will work directly with the community population and serve their needs. The psychology intern will help with community outreach. The psychology intern must be friendly and outgoing. They must be comfortable communicating with people of different backgrounds. The psychology intern must be coachable, able to take direction and be able to work independently and self-motivate.
