Program Information Upward Bound is a federally funded, college prep program that motivates and academically supports students who are interested in attending a 4-year university directly from high school. Applicants recruited for Upward Bound will participate in specialized training and will serve as residential staff during summer at Chapman University for the Santa Ana College Upward Bound (Trio) Program (UB). Upward Bound employs Residential Advisors who are responsible for advising and tutoring 40 high school students.
