Academic InternshipsAt — The Preuss School UC San Diego
The Preuss School UC San Diego is a public 6-12 school authorized by the San Diego Unified School District. A lottery process determines which scholars are selected to attend The Preuss School. Scholars from underrepresented backgrounds, lower incomes, and the first family to attend a four-year College or University are given priorities in the lottery. Once on campus, scholars are challenged with a rigorous curriculum while providing a wrap-around variety of supports. Academic Internships provide opportunities to engage with scholars in the learning process.
By the end of this opportunity, students will have learned different aspects of the teaching and learning relationship.
The Preuss School classroom teacher will provide guidance in performing all of the tasks or activities.
The Preuss School UC San Diego is located on the UC San Diego campus and falls under the requirements of the UC San Diego Return to Learn plan. (https://returntolearn.ucsd.edu/)
There is no further information needed after the Preuss Classroom teacher has agreed to the placement.
