Organization Description

At Community Bridges our mission is to deliver essential services, provide equitable access to resources, and advocate for health and dignity across every stage of life. Since 1977, Community Bridges has been a catalyst for a brighter future by providing basic resources for the people of Santa Cruz County. Our family of ten vital programs across 20 different sites serves thousands of local children, families, and seniors each year. While each program is remarkable on its own, together we are unstoppable.

Program Information

General Description of what students will be doing at this Site: Working directly with students, communicating with parents, inputting information in our record-keeping system, planning and implementing outreach activities and events, other program support

Key Responsibilities: Working with kids, communicating with parents/staff, learning our record keeping system and confidentiality

Desired Intern Characteristics: Reliability, flexibility, creativity

Special Considerations: Knowledge of Spanish is a plus!

Interprofessional opportunities available for the student: Social services, administration, youth programming, education
