Opportunity Summary 

Advocate for policies that support LGBTQ health and human services at the local and state levels.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Student will learn to identify and navigate systems impacting the health and wellness of LGBTQ Californians. Student will learn how to build collaborative relationships with LGBTQ community leaders and policy decision makers. Student will learn how to identify and implement policy advocacy strategies.

Opportunity Training 

Student will be provided with a comprehensive orientation. Student will shadow Field Instructor and conduct informational interviews with other policy advocates.
