Opportunity Summary 

Opportunity is to gain experience in a fast-pace sports medicine environment at the high school level. Students will be working with spring various sports teams, including baseball, softball, track and field, and lacrosse. Preventative and rehabilitation techniques for sports injuries will be learned, and athletic injury evaluations will be observed. Additionally, various taping techniques and first-aid care will be gained.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Student will learn how a functionally athletic training room operates at the high school level.

Opportunity Training 

Direct and hands-on first-aid care will be performed.

Opportunity Application Instructions 

Students who wish to apply should reach out to athletic director and athletic trainer. Preference for Vista alumni, but not mandatory.
