Service Learning OpportunitiesAt — Girl Scouts of California's Central Coast

Opportunity Summary

Troop Leader: Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast are looking for students interested in working with our Girl Scouts by becoming troop leaders for their semester. Our staff will mentor you, provide training, and support you along the way. Our goal is for you to lead a troop by building a curriculum with our awesome Volunteer Toolkit, planning meetings, and, depending on the time of the year, participating in our Cookie Sales! During the semester we will work with the parents of the girls to see if they want to take over the troop after your semester ends or, if you enjoyed being a leader, you can continue the troop! We also will waive your membership fee to become a Girl Scout as every volunteer needs to be registered! We have three different locations you can choose from, The Collection at Oxnard, Thousand Oaks Mall, and La Cumbre Mall. Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast looks forward to partnering with you!

Girl Scouts of California's Central Coast is interested in working directly with faculty from varied disciplines to build service-learning projects that support learning course outcomes.
