Observational and hands on assistance opportunity in a cutting edge outpatient neuro-rehab clinic in Carlsbad CA. Also an opportunity to assist in research and development of integrative foot sensory and ipad interface technology.
Students will have an appreciation for the intensity, high level of frequency and clinical specialty precision required to maximize outcomes for persons with a stroke or other acquired brain injury.
Each intern will receive direct training from a SABIR specialist and will only be allowed to assist with a patient with activities that are deemed to be appropriate for the individual intern's abilities and competency.
Understanding of safe lifting mechanics which will be provided on-site.
