Opportunity Title: HR Recruiter Intern

Opportunity Summary: Work closely with HR dept to recruit new employees along with assisting with additional HR-related duties.

By the end of this opportunity, students will have learned... Different HR laws and regulations, how to hire a new employee

The following tasks/activities students would be doing for this opportunity:

  • Administer, conduct, or oversee an assessment process
  • Assist a professional
  • Create evaluations, assessments, or survey instruments

What training will be provided to students to perform these responsibilities?: Work closely with all departments to create assessments for training, and upload assessments to our payroll system to individual employees for them to review and sign.

How will you provide ongoing support and supervision to students?: Available for any questions. Daily check-ins with HR. Hold the employee accountable.

In order to create a positive, safe and valuable out-of-classroom learning experience, CSU faculty, students, college staff and community partners must work together as a team to make the most of the experience and manage the unique risks that exist.
