Opportunity Summary 

The employment specialist intern is responsible for assisting the employment specialist with employment-related casework, assisting clients in developing holistic self-sufficiency plans, specifically guiding participants toward integration and eliminating barriers to employment.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Students will have grown in their ability to work effectively and sensitively with people of diverse cultural and religious backgrounds, relational skills, customer service skills, administrative skills, record keeping skills, coaching skills, and their ability to use strength-based and individualized case management.
