Opportunity Summary 

This placement will be located in our Fairfield Office and remotely providing mental health and/or substance use disorder services to youth and transitional aged youth.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Behavioral Health clinical interventions and evidenced based practices How to work within multidisciplinary teams Medi-Cal documentation How to conduct a comprehensive mental health assessment and American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) assessment group facilitation

Opportunity Training 

In person and online guided introduction to clinical interventions, Medi-Cal documentation, client-facing services. Opportunities to shadow licensed and/or registered staff providing services to individuals and families. Advanced training opportunities that will prepare you to provide specialized and trauma-informed services, including advocacy for resource families and youth in care, clinical interventions and evidence-based best practices, and cultural humility. Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
