Opportunity Summary 

Are you interested in making a difference in the lives of others? Coalition for Family Harmony is looking for community outreach volunteers and rape crisis advocates. Come join a fantastic team and help survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.

Coalition for Family Harmony is also interested in working directly with faculty from varied disciplines to build service-learning projects that support course outcomes.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Rape Crisis Advocacy techniques, advocacy techniques, crisis response training and techniques, presentation and communication skills

 

Students will learn about the mission, services, and population this organization serves and the issues that impact this population.

Opportunity Training 

Crisis response training (40 hours), ongoing training

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Rape Crisis advocates provide in person and remote advocacy to survivors of sexual assault.
