ESPN+ Titans Sports Network InternshipAt — CSUF - Athletics

ESPN+ has partnered with Titan Athletics to provide students with the opportunity to produce live game broadcasts from the CSUF campus. Streamed games will include all men’s & women’s basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, volleyball and water-polo.

*We anticipate positions to be available every fall, summer and spring term.

Duties will include but are not limited to assist with production of on-demand video content for Titan Sports Network and it's various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Threads and Instagram.

Take part in live game-day productions or feature shows for ESPN+.
Students will learn how to operate camera, graphics, audio and production controls.

Must be a student @ Cal St Fullerton

Requirements include:
-Student must be enrolled in the 495 internship course during the term of their internship.

- Intern will be responsible for working with the video production department to determine a work schedule

- When scheduled, show up on-time and dressed appropriately

- Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism while at work

- Communicate effectively with the full-time members of the video production department and any of our part-time freelance workers as
well as their fellow interns

- Accept and apply any constructive critiques and suggestions to daily
work in an effort to become more productive and/or efficient.

-Must follow TitansSportsNetwork on Instagram, Tik-Tok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads & X (Twitter). 

Learning Outcomes  

- Understand and implement the inner workings of a college athletics video department, ESPN+ broadcasting and how it interacts with other parts of the athletics
department (social media/marketing/media relations/etc.)

-Understand and apply the principles/techniques of a production.

-Better understand the technical aspects of video production (equipment operation and how each piece of equipment works with others)

-Students will be able to apply video storytelling techniques to broadcasting & social media

Training  

I will train students how to produce a broadcast using cameras, audio equipment and production controls

We will educate the students on the entire production process from start to finish

Students will receive hands on experience and feedback following each broadcast

We will teach students how to tie in social media with broadcasting.

Tasks/Duties
