Bay View Academy has opportunity for two MSW interns, working with our K-4 grade students and working with our 5-8 grade students. Responsibilities: Work with individual students and consult with teachers regarding social emotional problems. Monitor students to identify those who may benefit from social emotional support. Support in modeling Restorative Justice practices. Develop plans of assistance for high risk students and implement plans collaboratively with staff and parents. Provide assistance to teachers in social emotional learning. provides assistance to teachers in the interpretations and abilities and needs of individual students. Counsel students individually (IEP students).
