CSUMB Student Disability and Accessibility Center

Program Information

Case management through SDAC working with students with disabilities; Provide individual support for specific students and liaison with departments and programs on and off campus; Develop activities, procedures and business practices for an optimal educational experience; Identify and convene a group of student with disabilities who want to increase their skills for student success; Participate in planning, coordination and delivery of SDAC New Student Group Orientation.

Health & Safety

Ongoing training in violence prevention and communication. This internship is in a busy university setting among many people, including those who are not yet adept at managing stress. Interns will be exposed to colds, flu and other illnesses, and work near service dogs. Some customers may be inclined to use profane language and/or volatile behavior.
