Program Information

We have three generalist internships available for Prevention Program, Shelter Program, and Crisis Intervention Program, respectively. We are also able to take on 1 advanced placement for Fall.
Shelter Program Interns will assist with case management and other duties related to serving residential clients at our confidential facility.
Prevention Program Interns will assist with outreach, workshop, tabling, and other activities.
Crisis Intervention Interns will assist with various legal, therapy, counseling support, case management activities.

Students will work with survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and human trafficking. This includes the opportunity for shelter screening, intakes, individual support, group counseling, and legal support.

Health & Safety

Interns will need to have clear boundaries with clients, so as to not risk abusers finding out their personal information.
Clients have yelled at shelter staff, but there is no physical threat.
