Program Information

Students will have the opportunity to develop a range of skills related to school social work while working directly with middle school-aged youth from diverse socioeconomic, cultural, racial, and ethnic backgrounds, including LGBTQ youth and youth in specialized education programs. Students will be a part of a middle school Wellness Center and its multidisciplinary team; the student will benefit from attending team meetings, staff meetings, and district-level PBIS training. Students will gain experience working with middle school-aged youth and for those students enrolled in the PPCS program, additional experience at the high school level (as a secondary placement).

Health & Safety

All students will be required to have a TB test and Fingerprinting, and show COVID-19 vaccination card, prior to starting their service hours.
