Organization Description

The HOPE Program is an outpatient mental health treatment facility with locations throughout the state of California. The HOPE Program utilizes evidenced-based treatment modalities to provide service to our clientele of post-conviction sexual offenders. All clients are referred to The HOPE Program through the California Department of Corrections contract.

Program Information

Interns conduct individual and group psychotherapy with post-conviction sexual offenders. There is also ample opportunity for assessment in all locations. We ask interns commit to 20 hours per week with the agency. We also offer individual and group supervision as well as didactic training, covering a broad range of psychological topics.

Health & Safety

Clientele are post-conviction sexual offenders with diverse and lengthy criminal histories. All client are on parole for sexual offense.

Safety Precautions: Common sense and maintaining boundaries. All of our offices are also equipped with audio and video recording devices that operate non-stop throughout the day. No intern or staff member is ever to be in the office alone.
