Organization Description

SteppingUP's College Awareness Program provides low-income, first generation junior high and high school students with the knowledge and resources to pursue a college education. The mission of collective mission of SteppingUP and OCCHC is to transition extremely low-income families toward greater self-sufficiency by assisting with housing and education.

Health & Safety

Students will meet regularly with an assigned caseload of youth who are either in jr. high or high school.

We will have two site supervisors who will oversee 15-20 students.

We currently operate on a hybrid schedule. Our offices are open Tue-Thu from 8am-4pm. We operate remotely on Mondays and Fridays from 8am-4pm. Meetings with clients typically extend past our office hours, and usually occur weekday afternoons and evenings.
