French Valley Library
Riverside County Library System (RCLS) is a public library system with 35 locations, two Mobile Resource Vans, two museums and a Creation Station in Riverside County, California. RCLS serves a diverse population of 1.4 million residents in a very large geography covering 7,303 square miles. RCLS locations are the educational and cultural centers of their communities. By providing modern public libraries, Riverside County, realizes its vision "to be a proactive county that provides community, business, government, and regional leadership." Services including a collection of over 1.3 million books, materials and electronic resources, and educational and literacy, job and career development and life enrichment programs make Riverside County an even better place to live, work, raise families, and do business.
French Valley is nestled between Winchester, Murrieta and Temecula. The modern design of the new French Valley Library is highlighted in a 25,000 square foot single story facility. The library has been contemporarily designed to meet the community's growing needs. Features of the new library include space for a large collection of books and media materials, dedicated zones for teens and young children, a 125-seat multi-user community room, group study rooms for pop-up exhibits and other programs and events. In addition to the library, the property offers a peaceful outdoor reading and study area. The French Valley Library opened on Saturday, July 31, 2021.
