Opportunity Summary

On a Friday evening, venture off the beaten path and be rewarded with an extraordinary dining experience at Rancho Cielo. Under the guidance of Executive Chef Estevan Jimenez, students of the Drummond Culinary Academy prepare and serve contemporary California cuisine that speaks to the bounty and culture of the Salinas Valley and the students themselves.

Guests have the unique opportunity to participate in their learning process, which is as much hospitality and culinary training as it is an empowerment journey. Serving “real customers” is the best way to prepare our students for successful careers in Monterey County’s hospitality industry—and beyond.

Service Learners can be part of our Friday Night Dinners at Rancho Cielo by being the Host and helping mentor our students during your role. The time you will need to be available is 5pm-9pm on Fridays. This position will require pre-training.

Friday Night Dinners run Oct - May each year.

Opportunity Training

Pre-training will be provided as well as constant supervision each shift.
