Organization Description

An inter-faith network committed to helping ease the suffering of the unhoused this winter in Santa Clara County. Faith communities have stepped up to offer over night shelter, day time drop in centers, and safe car parks. Others have agreed to help with volunteers, food, supplies, fellowship, and money and to advocate for better treatment of unhoused people and to create an environment that fosters 'One-Community' for all people regardless of housing status.

Health & Safety

Some of the unhoused population we serve are behaviorally challenged. Our staff is fully trained in how to handle the rare occasion and student learners will be trained on how to react as well. Staff will supervise all services and students are not placed in a situation to handle these instances by themselves.

Additional requirements and/or considerations
  • Computer Literacy
  • Must be 18 or older
  • POPULATION SERVED: Students will be working with "behaviorally challenged" populations.
