Organization Description

SMUM serves the needs of our clients in San José’s inner city and promotes their self-sufficiency. SMUM offers transformative programs to serve the needs of our community.  Santa Maria Urban Ministry was founded as an outreach ministry of the Episcopal diocese of El Camino Real in April 1983 to provide emergency food to the residents of San Jose’s inner city.

Food pantry Monday through Friday 9 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. and the first and thrid Saturday of the month. After school program Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 3:30 p.m. until 5 p.m.
