We, the horses at Christine Marie’s STAR Riders, need your help! We love the humans we help: children and adults with special needs, college students, veterans, active military and teenagers.
In reality, we know all humans need our love, attention, and an environment to grow and learn. Part of helping us is to learn to ride a horse.
First, we (the horses) need our campus and home maintained. We need daily food and water and grooming to stay in top shape to help you humans. We need this seven days a week so any day you can come help is great.
Second, every Saturday the other humans feed each other. Since they don’t eat grass and pellets, kitchen help is needed to shop, prep, cook and serve lunch to everyone helping on Saturdays.
