Opportunity Summary 

This position works Monday through Friday and is flexible. Food preparation to organize food for our drives each day to take to our clients. Morning hours starting at 6:30am and 1/2 hour intervals until 9:00 and then concludes at 10:00am. Also, the opportunity to work with seniors during congregate dining as a server which starts at 10:45am - 12:30pm.

Opportunity Training 

There is specific training that occurs for each position by the kitchen manager.

Daily interaction with all volunteers occurs each day. We are volunteer driven and have over 300+ volunteers who assist with food prep and driving.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

We provide aprons, gloves, hair coverings. No volunteer is placed in a situation without being trained first. Example: No one will be using a knife if they have not been taught knife skills. No volunteer will ever use the slicer. There are specific items in the kitchen that only staff are allowed to use.
