4th Grade History Program AssistantsAt — California State Parks - Monterey State Historic Park
Help school children learn about Monterey’s rich history!
If you are interested in history or working with school children, Monterey State Historic Park has a terrific volunteer opportunity for you.
The park is currently looking for volunteers who would like to help run our upcoming fourth grade school programs. Volunteers will learn about early California history from staff and assist in presenting our hands-on activities including ropemaking, cooking, and leather making to our visiting students.
The school program volunteer shifts will be on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9am to noon. Students don't need to be available for all of these shifts every week but could just do one of these shifts a week.
