Recreation Leader At — City of Riverside, Parka Recreation and Community Services Department
Students could apply to become a recreation leader. Interns receive the proper training in shadowing a Recreational Leader. Understanding the difference in communities. Giving back to the community. Assisting with special events Providing tutoring to teens who are struggling. Putting together intake packets for Project B.R.I.D.G.E. Keeping the at-risk teens involved in positive activity (I.e workshops, volunteers opportunities, street cleans up, etc) Assisting with the ARPA teen meal program offered Monday - Thursday from 3-4 pm to teens who need a hot meal. Restocking/ inventory our pantry for teens who need food. Assisting with excel spreadsheets and keeping track of families who take food, diapers, gift cards, etc.
