Salvation Army Berberian Shelter & Transitional Living Center

We are an emergency shelter with 211 beds to meets the needs of our homeless population. They stay for a maximum of 180 days per year. A portion of the beds are use for a veteran's transitional program.

We have a Sheriff's Alternative Program is a transitional program for individuals getting released from jail.

We currently have classes available during the week such as, life skills, finance, substance abuse, and more.

We also have a spiritual component that is not forced upon anyone but brings spiritual strength through virtual Bible studies once a week, and in house for clients only Sunday morning 8:30am chapel service.

TSA Berberian Shelter goals are

1. To help participants obtain and remain in permanent housing,

2. To help participants increase their skills and income, and

3. To help participants achieve a greater self-determination.
