Volunteer Driver - ITNMCAt — Independent Transportation Network Monterey County (ITNMC)

Opportunity Summary 

Drive ITNMC customers (seniors and people with visual impairments) wherever they want to go within the service area. Medical appointments, shopping, and to visit friends are frequent destinations. Flexible commitment based on your schedule, give rides that usually last no more than 20 minutes within areas you feel comfortable driving.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements Sought :

  1. Valid driver’s license and three years driving experience.
  2. Clean driving record (no moving violations for three years) and clean criminal history check.
  3. Proof of liability insurance for vehicle.
  4. Current registration and inspection sticker on vehicle, if applicable.
  5. Personal references from three non-relatives.
Opportunity Training 

Volunteer orientation is provided after a completed background and driver history check is passed.

There is 24/7 on-call dispatch and contact for any ride concerns/needs.
