AVID MentorAt — Lincoln Middle School
Opportunity Summary
We are looking for mentors to work with our middle school students as academic role models. Mentors will work with the students in small study groups, particpate in leadership activities , give supportive feedback as a role model in the classroom.
Opportunity Learning Outcomes
Improved reasoning and communication skills, help younger students develop themselves, building relationships, and give constructive feedback.
Opportunity Training
Students will be with a teacher at all times in the classroom and training and support will occur within the time present. Some background info can be emailed and discussed before arrival.
