Are you looking to go into the field of speech-language pathology, occupational therapy or physical therapy? Kirsch Therapy is looking for friendly compassionate interns to join our team. We are looking for students with a passion for working with children and those with special needs. You will shadow and assist therapists and come to understand what life in the day of an SLP, OT or PT looks like. Come aboard and learn with us!
The ins and outs of outpatient pediatric therapy. What it takes to be a speech-language pathologist, occupational therapist or physical therapist. You will learn how to use a child-directed and family centered approach to therapy to help not just the client but the family as a whole. Interns will also learn about community resources and opportunities in the San Diego area.
Students will shadow therapists and will be trained for any office tasks required.
There is minimal risk to students however we do work with clients with disabilities such as those on the Autism Spectrum and those experiencing other behavioral disorders.
