Opportunity Summary 

EpiBuild internships provide onboarding and training in compliance with NACE and experiential learning with projects related to the students' major such as CS, CSE, Informatics, business, marketing, pre-med, pre-law, etc.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

EpiBuild provides students with hands-on onboarding, training, and project management experiences. Their role on the project will be based on their interest and major. For instance, CSE/CS students will have software development projects; business/communication/marketing majors will get digital marketing projects; graphic design students will get branding and UI/UX design projects; pre-med students will get biomedical research projects; pre-law students will get legal research projects; etc.

Opportunity Training 

Students go through fully NACE compliant onboarding and training in professionalism through 4 major sections: 1-Professionalism Training: this is comprised of onboarding, learning all rules for a proper work-life balance, professional communication and management lectures. 2-Execution Training: this is comprised of learning root cause analysis, standard solution procedures and execution of those procedures on practice cases 3-Management Training: this includes a rotation on HR and shadowing clients where students manage other more junior interns and shadow professionals while learning to manage client porfolios. 4-Project Training: Students take on clients and manage their porfolios.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

There are few safety concerns other than privacy and confidentiality as most of the work is done remotely.
