Organization Description

The Unity Council’s mission is to promote social equity and improve quality of life by building vibrant communities where everyone can work, learn, and thrive.

Program Information

In this opportunity, students will meet with key leadership staff including Department Director, Chief Operating Officer, Data Systems Analyst and Policy & Advocacy Manager Review TUC’s latest Community Impact Report And Review TUC’s 2022-2026 Strategic Plan to get a better understanding of the community organization Participate in trainings related to community engagement and food security. Conduct an exploration interview with the Food Security Project Coordinator. Attend 1 food distribution event. Write a brief literature review of community engagement strategies for food security services.
