Opportunity Summary 

Qualified Intern will learn gallery procedures including hanging monthly shows, exhibition scheduling, social media marketing, support reception events and educational programming. A. Sit Gallery 6 hrs per week. 3-5 additional hours per week in administration and special events coordination. B. Learn and implement gallery procedures, including opening/closing, cleaning, organizing files, and gallery sales/receipts/recording system. C. Learn overview of EAA programs, including knowledge of schedule of exhibitions. D. Assist Social Media Marketing with photography, videography, hashtagging, and posting on Instagram and Facebook. FILMMAKING IS OUR EMPHASIS for this internship in the months moving forward. We are looking for short form content for social media marketing purposes, focusing on the Gallery, the paintings, our artist interviews, and other SM content. E. Assist events/art receptions with refreshments set-up. and more

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Understand gallery procedures and be able to conduct business in the gallery. Help board members with Take-in submission monthly. Creative input on instagram social media marketing videos.

Opportunity Training 

Hands on with board members training includes professional practices, gallery sales procedures, etc.
