Children's Ministry InternAt — CCEA Adventure Kids
Internship Program is designed to give individuals firsthand
ministry experience, as well as assisting in the planning, prepping, administrative, and hands-on work within specifically children's ministry. Interns will gain experience working with the Children's ministry director and children's ministry staff, as well as assisting with the overall functionality of the children's church. This internship is ideal for college students seeking purpose and practical application in a church ministry. Tasks:
Administrative prep, work, and set up of midweek programming, serving students who have disabilities in the ministry and advocating for their needs, creating and observing age-appropriate activities, events, and teaching, organizing materials and workspace.
Training:
I will conduct an orientation meeting to help the student achieve the learning outcomes, meet with her weekly, provide one-on-one training for tasks, and assign job shadowing opportunities.
Learning Outcome:
By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to complete administrative tasks, serve with disabilities ministries, assist with organizational needs, and implement age-appropriate ideas and teachings.
