Apple Valley Unified School District serves just over 13,000 students ranging from preschool through twelfth grade, and offers anadult education program linked with Victor Valley College. AVUSD provides a safe, encouraging, and challenging learningenvironment in which students are given the opportunity to reach their full potential. Our students have access to current technology,up-to-date curriculum, highly qualified teachers, and a variety of extracurricular activities and sports. Fellow Role:

Fellows assigned to school sites will provide academic tutoring and direct support to staff. Fellows asssigned to the ESC Family Center will provide support in prepping for the weekly food pantry distribution. They will also assist in community events and Cash for College events held by the district. All fellows will have theopportunity to learn and network in various fields.
