Organization Description
The Jerry Rubin Foundation for Cancer Care was founded in December 2021 to:
- Provide financial & assistance and support to cancer patients and other patients facing end-of-life, including, without limitations, programs designed to meet the psychological, emotional, social and spiritual needs of such patients
- Provide educational programs for medical professionals with respect to diagnosis, treatment and management of cancer and end of life
- Establish community-based educational initiatives to promote the early detection of cancer and an integrated approach to cancer treatment
- Provide support groups focused on patients facing the end of life and their caregivers and the bereaved
