Organization Description

The Stanislaus County Office of Education (SCOE) partners with local schools and the community to support quality education for nearly 110,000 students in Stanislaus County and several thousand more in regional programs throughout the state. The office employs approximately over 1,100 staff and manages a $261 million budget. The Stanislaus County Office of Education, through effective leadership, coordinated services, staff development, and partnerships among family, school and community, will support public education in preparing diverse students to become productive citizens and life-long learners. Program Information

"The Margaret L. Annear Early Intervention Program serves children with special needs from the ages of birth to five. Services, designed to meet the unique educational needs of children with mild to severe disabilities, include in home services for infant/toddlers with onsite weekly playgroups, special day classes for preschoolers, as well as readiness classes."
