Program Information

I'm a 2003 Alumni, took in my first MSW Intern in 2008. Have had a total of 7-8. All had gone on to do great things with their life. I have truly learned from them all, and hope that it was the same for them as well. First year students need to get their feet wet by learning the local community resources, they need to attend various in-services, conferences and workshops in the community that are free. they will shadow me, a Public Health Nurse and a Community Health Worker @ home visits. I had all of my interns to keep a Personal Profile of trainings/certificates that they received during their placement. All of these activities/responsibilities should touch on the learning plan completely!
