Physical Therapy Tech InternshipAt — North Coast Physical Therapy
Internships for Physical Therapy will provide the student with engagement with Physical Therapist and Patients in a rehab environment. Students will learn the daily routines on how a Physical Therapy Office operates and will have hands on with patients doing Office duties, Marketing, modality set ups, Hot/Ice packs and able to observe Physical Therapist Evaluating patients and observe treatment sessions for a variety of specialties such as; Ortho, Vestibular, Neuro, Women's and Men's pelvic health, Lymphedema, Pilates, Pre/Post Natal, Concussions, TMJ, Parkinson's, Scoliosis, they will also know the proper cleaning of clinic to keep it a safe and clean environment. Interns here find that we offer a wide variety of learning and skill developing environment.
How to do Electrical Stimulation set ups, How to properly apply Hot/Cold packs to patients, The daily functions of a physical therapy clinic, patient engagement, observation of physical therapist during evaluations and treatments, able to ask questions to our therapist and our highly trained technicians, office and marketing duties, Proper cleaning to keep clinic safe and clean for all.
Students will along the technicians to learn how to do set up on modalities, observe physical therapist and work with office staff and management to be properly trained
