Opportunity Summary 

This internship opportunity will grant the ability to learn how to submit routine and STAT authorization request in addition to appealing denials for patients which can vary from medication authorizations, surgical procedures, and imaging request

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

At the end of the internship the assigned student will know how to initiate such referrals without supervision.

Opportunity Training 

Student will be trained on how to submit authorization through the online portal for each insurance company. Student must watch training videos provided by the corresponding insurance company.
