Opportunity Summary 

Help children ages 8 to 14 learn the history of the Cahuilla Indians and of the Coachella Valley Assist children with drawing, make a mural, and with speaking skills for the Living History Festival

Play old-fashioned games such as croquet, horseshoes, hopscotch, jump rope, and much more. Develop plans for a Jr. Volunteer Program at the museum Attend museum trainings for docents Oversee the Junior Garden Program at the museum Recruit and train youth to become Jr. Volunteers 

Preferred Skills:  

Desire to work with young children from ages 8 to 14 Eagerness to plan, develop, and implement a Jr. Volunteer Program Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Drive Upbeat positive attit
