Physical Therapy Tech/Aide At — All Star Physical Therapy- Menifee West
Prepares patients for treatment, assisting with transfers and transportation as needed. Prepares equipment and treatment areas for patients. Cleans treatment areas, keeps gym area tidy. Assures supplies in treatment area. Efficient patient set up with modalities to ensure patient safety and comfort. Completes opening and closing duties as assigned.
At All Star, students will have an opportunity to work with physical therapists and interact with patients in an outpatient facility. For students looking to go into physical therapy, it is a great opportunity to see what things are like in an outpatient clinic.
Students will be taught how to apply modalities (TENS, hot pack, cold pack etc.) and necessary training to work with patients regarding exercise technique and general type of exercises. We will also introduce students to the system used for documentation of exercises performed with the patients.
