Our Mission: We are committed to empowering people of all ages and identities to live their best life through the delivery of quality behavioral health and social services.

Our Vision: We strive to set the standard for individualized care that provides hope for recovery

Our program strives to reduce barriers that our clients face when accessing various services.

Program Information

C.A.R.E. – Community Assistance & Recovery Enterprise – is a Full Service Partnership Program. Our program provides Specialty Mental Health Services designed to partner with individuals with severe psychiatric disorder. We partner with stakeholders, community providers, friends, and family members to provide direct services tailored to support our consumers’ recovery and empowerment journey.

MSW interns will be responsible for learning how the referral process is done and the necessary systems and fellow colleagues involved in order to successfully complete a transition of care from one level of care to another. MSW students will also be exposed and be expected to learn how to perform mental health case management, in a community setting. Graduate students will also have the opportunity to perform clinical services, participate in interdisciplinary treatment teams, case consultation, medication education and support, advocacy, housing and outreach with community stakeholders as part of the client's treatment services. The CARE program gives aspiring practitioners the time, space and support to develop the essential competencies and skills applicable to Social Workers practicing in the clinical, policy, and generalist settings.
