Organization Description

La Casa is designed to provide Health Care, Social and Recreation Services for Adults and Seniors in a therapeutic and nurturing environment. Funded by MediCal, VA or Private Pay. Our aim is to fulfill the physical, emotional, intellectual, social and personal needs of every participant and increase their independence.

Program Information

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise main room floor and interact with participants during morning arrival 
  • Pass out Badges to meet and interact with participants
  • Provide announcements in the morning; activities for the day, reminders, lunch menu, etc. 
  • Conduct Classes / Supervise Activities as assigned by MSW
  • Sit-in for observation of Social Service reassessment interviews
  • observe Social Service care plan development
  • Decorate Center as appropriate to season, holiday or occasion 
  • Social Service Flowsheets

Please provide details about trainings/ staff meetings offered or required:

MSW and RN provide weekly in-service to staff, the LCSW provides bi-weekly in-service to social service department.
