Social Media (Posting and Engagement) InternAt — World of Dance

Opportunity Summary 

Work closely with our Creative Director in creating engaging posts for multiple social media platforms including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.  Assist in growth strategies for a brand that has 20+ million followers.  Learn optimization, calendar scheduling, link backs and other skills as needed to compete with today's ever changing social media landscape. 

Create a weekly list of goals, completed tasks, in-progress tasks, and future tasks to track progress. Work across multiple platforms with multiple tools to aid in creating a robust calendar of content while monitoring growth in followers. Software and Tools Used During Internship include Google Spreadsheets, Facebook Creative Studio, TikTok, YouTube, Adobe Products - Photoshop, Illustrator and various other applications for social media and scheduling.

Training:

To help the student achieve the learning outcomes, we will assign social media related tasks, outline objectives and expectations, review and provide feedback on all work, and hold weekly check-ins to evaluate progress and learning expectations. We will also share current campaigns our organization is working on, the student may not be directly involved in as an opportunity to expose the student to larger strategy and management tasks they may come across in the future.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the internship, the student will learn best practices across multiple platforms including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. Additionally, the student will have access and opportunity to learn minor app based editing, with entry level AI based technology and other related skills.
