Opportunity Summary
This is an opportunity for the student intern to gain experience working alongside Doctors of Physical Therapy in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic.
Opportunity Learning Outcomes
1. Proper communication methods between clinician and patient. 2. Proper instruction of various physical therapy interventions (including but not limited to therapeutic exercises, therapeutic modularities, and patient education) 3. Learn proper interdisciplinary communication amongst various Doctors of Physical Therapy in a clinic based environment.
Opportunity Training
Students will have the opportunity to shadow physical therapy aides and Doctors of Physical Therapy.
