Organization Description

The Monterey County Office of Education (MCOE) is a vital component of our K-12 education. We serve as a critical link between our county's schools and both state and federal governments, and we provide indispensable and cost-effective services to local schools and districts.

 

Program Information

The Teaching and Learning team supports schools with the implementation of innovative instructional practices by facilitating professional learning and providing resources for educators. Supports are provided across all content areas with the goal of promoting equity and advancing authentic deeper learning experiences for all students.
 Team expertise includes facilitation and support for the core content areas and associated California frameworks through interdisciplinary and inquiry-based models. Additional services include county-wide events, technical assistance and customized, collaborative professional learning opportunities.
